One in ten of 342 women working in the private sector have told researchers that the opportunity ‘to find an organization whose values I admire’, would be one of their three main incentives for leaving their present job.
The single most important reason why the women might want to change their job was to earn more money (33 per cent), and the second most important was the prospect of ‘interesting work’ (22 per cent). The results are published in a study, Sticky floors and cement ceilings, from Business in the Community.
