An environmental activist has joined the board of directors at the US-based Alcoa aluminium company. Alcoa chief executive Alain Belda said the decision to appoint Kathryn Fuller, president of WWF US, to the nine-person board had been made to ‘strengthen our ability to integrate environmental excellence into our decision-making process’.
