Granada is the best performing media company in Europe on sustainability, according to an index that measures large European companies by economic, environmental and social yardsticks. The Dow Jones Stoxx Sustainability Index launched last month evaluates the performance of companies on issues such as corporate governance and human rights and bribery. Other companies leading their sector in Europe were Boots (retail), UBS of Switzerland (banking) and Germany’s BASF (chemicals).
