The Royal Bank of Scotland is to provide the Prince’s Trust with around £10million ($14.5m) in what the young people’s charity has described as ‘one of the biggest ever partnerships’ between a business and a voluntary sector organization in the UK.

The package will comprise a donation of £3.7m and a loan of £6m, which the charity will then redistribute as loans to young people starting their own business. Most of the donation – £2.4m – will go to the trust’s 14/25 scheme, which helps young people to find jobs.
