Imperial Tobacco chairman Derek Bonham will not stand for re-election as a non-executive director of GlaxoSmithKline this month after GSK said ‘concern’ had been voiced by some shareholders at his tobacco links. Bonham joined the board of Glaxo Wellcome in 1995.
