Powergen asks some questions

Energy company Powergen has sent a questionnaire to its shareholders asking them how much importance they place on social and environmental issues.

The form, posted out with proxy voting material for this month’s annual meeting, asks if shareholders are satisfied with Powergen’s performance on social and environmental issues and if they take such performance into account when investing.

Powergen said the questionnaire was intended ‘to sound out what form of reporting shareholders wish to see from the company in the future.’
