Peter Eggleston has taken up the post of co-ordinator for sustainable development at Rio Tinto. Eggleston has moved to the mining company’s London offices from its ore business, Hamersley Iron, in Western Australia. He takes over the sustainability brief from corporate relations manager Robert Court, who is leaving to become the UK’s deputy high commissioner in Canberra.
