Nine agree to measure impact

Nine companies have signed up to measure and report their impact on society against criteria outlined in the recent Winning with integrity report produced by the Business Impact on Society Taskforce (EP6, 2000).

Carillion, The Co-operative Insurance Society, Hasbro, Jaguar, J Sainsbury, Prudential, Severn Trent, Thames Water and Zurich Financial Services will track their progress against benchmarks relating, among other things, to community involvement and human rights. They will post the results on a web site, which is yet to be created.
