Nestlé launches 'shared value' award

Nestlé has launched an award worth CHF500,000 (£353,000, €408,000, $531,000) for projects which have ‘created shared value’ through innovative, commercially viable and high-impact nutrition, water or rural development projects. These may be in agriculture, food science and technology, nutrition education or micronutrient fortification programmes or water management. The prize is open to individuals, not-for-profit or governmental organisations, private and social enterprises, and academic institutions.
