RWC Partners buys Hermes Focus

Hermes Focus Asset Management, a leader in the SRI industry for more than 30 years, has been sold to London-based hedge fund RWC Partners. The Focus teams currently manage assets in excess of $800m (£498m, e618m) for a range of institutional clients, and was renowned for challenging boards and pushing for reform. RWC says the Focus Funds management will continue in both their roles and with their ‘constructive activist’ approach, and will be rebranded RWC Focus Funds.
