Malaysian stock exchange bolsters disclosure requirements

The Malaysian stock exchange has bolstered its listing requirements on disclosure, and issued a guide to raise standards in the area. Bursa Malaysia has made its rules more stringent on executive pay transparency, the quality of financial reporting information, and voting. The bourse said the amendments were necessary “given the ever-changing capital market environment”.
