An information resource on carbon offsetting has been launched by a UK-based media company. REDDcarbonCredits, the first corporate tool based on the United Nations initiative on Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD), is an online portal designed to raise awareness of the new scheme, which officially received financial support at the 2010 Cancun climate change conference, and to explain the investment options opened up by the programme.
