The Business and Human Rights Resource Centre has appointed Amanda Romero as its first Latin America and Caribbean representative. Romero, previously of the American Friends Service Committee, will based in Bogota, Colombia, reporting on the human rights impacts of companies, seeking business responses to alleged abuses, and building contacts with NGOs, companies, investors and governments.
