Brewer SABMiller has become the target of a new boycott campaign by Action Aid, which accuses it of avoiding £20million of taxes in Africa and India every year by using subsidiaries in tax havens. SABMiller has strongly denied the claims, saying it ‘does not engage in aggressive tax planning’ in any part of its operations.
