Recycled IT devices are to be marketed in the UK by the computer multinational Ricoh. The products, including printers and photocopiers with additional functions, will carry the same warranties as new Ricoh machines, and have been developed within the company’s ‘eco-line’ range. Product manager Steve Mulroy said the decision reflects ‘significant demand from public sector account customers’ for environment-friendly products during 2010.
