Procter & Gamble says it has achieved zero waste to landfill at one of its plants in North America. A site producing beauty products in Maine has worked with suppliers and staff to use 100 per cent of its waste, recycling 60 per cent and converting the rest to energy. P&G says it will use the site as an example for further developments in the region.
