Mark Price, managing director of Waitrose, has been chosen as the new chairman of Business in the Community. Price, who has chaired Bitc’s Rural Action Programme for two years, will officially take over from current chairman, Sir Stuart Rose of Marks and Spencer, on 1 January and will serve for three years.
