Astellas Pharma has announced its first global volunteering programme for staff as part of a new five-year CSR plan. The Japan-based multinational pharmaceuticals company will focus volunteering on encouraging and supporting community projects that improve the health and wellbeing of people worldwide. The programme will include a ‘changing tomorrow’ day allowing office-based employees to volunteer for a local charity for one working day.
