The Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and the UK-based SRI researchers Eiris have appointed a local partner to conduct JSE’s  analysis for the 2010 Socially Responsible Investment Index. JSE and Eiris will work with Stellenbosch University Business School to help to build the SRI research capacity in South Africa, with the eventual aim of putting the business school in charge of the bulk of the analysis.
