The UK’s Royal Mint has become the world’s first coinage manufacturer to receive SA8000 accreditation. The mint, which stands as the sector’s leading global exporter as well as issuing 1.3 billion UK coins last year, was accredited with the labour standard after an independent audit of all its operations.
