The husband of Anita Roddick and co-founder of The Body Shop has been awarded an 'ethical award' for lifetime achievement by The Observer newspaper. Gordon Roddick also founded The Big Issue magazine, which helps to employ homeless people, and has contributed to fair trade innovations such as Divine Chocolate.
