Individuals in Britain's creative industries such as film-making and architecture have initiated a campaign to make the sector more sustainable. Professionals including Frances Corner, head of the London College of Fashion, and filmmaker Lord Puttnam started the project last month to determine how British creative businesses can help other sectors innovate on issues such as energy, climate change and social justice, as well as becoming more sustainable themselves. The creative sector, which generates about £70billion ($105bn, €85bn) in revenue annually, claims to be well placed to take a lead on sustainability because of its tradition of innovation.
