Telecommunications group Orange has joined the United Nations ‘mHealth Alliance’ as part of an effort to improve public health through mobile technology in West Africa. Orange will partner with the alliance – created last year by the UN, Vodafone and the Rockefeller Foundation – on projects in Botswana, Burkina-Faso, Kenya, Mali and Senegal.
