SAB Miller launches water initiative

Beverages multinational SABMiller and the World Wildlife Fund have launched the Water Futures partnership, an initiative designed to tackle water scarcity in a number of SABMiller’s operating countries. The company pledged in 2008 to its cut water use by a quarter per litre of beer by 2015. Water Futures will build on an existing partnerships between SABMiller and WWF in Colombia, Honduras and El Salvador in areas of water risk in Peru,  Tanzania, South Africa and Ukraine.
