Former US president Bill Clinton is to support The Body Shop’s fight against the sex trafficking of young people.
The Clinton Global Initiative, in partnership with the cosmetics company, has introduced a Progress Card System as part of the ECPAT (End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes) global campaign.
The cards will work as a scoring system to highlight the lack of action by governments in dealing with child trafficking. ECPAT and The Body Shop, which raises funds for the campaign through sales of its Soft Hands Kind Hearts hand cream, will release a final report on the issue in 2012.
