Companies have a social responsibility to pay more attention to workforce skills gaps, the UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on Corporate Responsibility has said. A new report by the group says business should tackle skills shortages through public-private partnerships focused on areas such as apprenticeships, work-based training and business links with schools and other educational institutions.
