The UK Social Investment Forum has re-branded itself as ‘UKSIF – the sustainable investment and finance association’, with a new logo and website. Its name has been changed legally to UK Sustainable Investment and Finance to keep the familiar acronym. UKSIF, formed in 1991, took its original name from its sister body, the Social Investment Forum, in the US, where the phrase ‘social investment’ was seen at the time as equivalent to ‘SRI’.
