Societe Generale's corporate and investment banking division has created a corporate social responsibility department to be headed by Eric May, who will produce action plans on sustainable banking, carbon neutrality and support for underprivileged communities. Based in Paris, he will report to Philippe Laget, head of CSR for the Societe Generale group. May moves over from the bank's natural resources and energy financing team, where he was in charge of business development.
