Vodafone has been judged by report readers to have produced the best corporate responsibility report for the year ended 31 March 2007. The mobile phone company took the inaugural Corporate Register Reporting Award last month, ahead of runner-up ABN Amro. Rather than being judged by a panel of experts, the award relied on votes by users of CorporateRegister.com. In all 3660 votes were cast, excluding 1260 discounted as ‘bad’ because users chose their own company’s report.
