Indian companies are readers' choice

Five Asian companies, all from India, have been shortlisted for the inaugural Global Reporting Initiative’s GRI Readers’ Choice Awards.

They have been selected from nearly 800 entries in a competition that enables sustainability report readers to judge the best reports rather than a panel of experts. The GRI is now inviting the readers also to choose the winner from the short list.

The shortlisted Indian companies are ABN Amro Bank India, Infosys Technologies, ITC, Jubilant Organosys and Tata Motors. The award will be presented to the winner at the Amsterdam Global Conference on Sustainability and Transparency in May.
