A Malaysian company and a businessman have been commended at the first CSR Ambassadorship Certification Programme presentation of the Ansted Social Responsibility International Awards, which were founded by Roger Haw of the private Ansted University, which operates globally.
Seaports operator Northport (M) Bhd, based in Port Klang, received the award in the company category for its Northport CSR Project 2007, in which it offers a lifelong education programme and modules on sustainability, business safety and technology. The individual award went to Dr Kenny Ong Kean Lee.
