The China Supply Chain Council, a community of 20,000 business professionals, has kicked off a new season of formal discussions on CSR in supply chain management and ethical sourcing.
The lunchtime discussions, to be held at various venues around China over the next few months, will look at the challenges facing manufacturers and retailers in China. Among the key topics to be addressed is how to reduce supply chain risk and to what extent it is appropriate to do so.
The first discussion, held last month, was supported by Jemmy Chayadi and Arnaud Crapie, from the quality, social and environment department of Ikea Distribution Asia Pacific.
