CDP nets 77% of big companies

Harley Davidson is the only company in the automobile and components sector that failed to provide details of its greenhouse gas emissions to the Carbon Disclosure Project.

The sector’s 12 other companies, including Bridgestone, which provided data for the first time, all met the request made on behalf of institutional investors managing $41trillion (£20tn) in assets.

Costco Wholesale and Chubb Corporation were among other non-respondents. In all 77 per cent of the FT 500 gave data.
