Flybe has become the first airline to introduce an aircraft eco-labelling scheme for passengers.
Under the scheme, devised by the consultancy Entec and assured by Deloitte, passengers will receive a breakdown of the fuel use, carbon emissions and noise patterns of the aircraft they are flying in. Performance against every aspect is rated from A, signifying the least impact, to F, the worst. Flybe carried eight million passengers last year.
