A Korean office of Sd3, the London-based sustainability consultancy,
has been officially opened at a British embassy event in Seoul.
At the ceremony Jason Perks, the Sd3 founding director, told guests: ‘As many successful Korean businesses already know, only those that can engage their stakeholders, meet global expectations and deliver truly sustainable value will thrive in the long term.’
The event was followed by three days of presentations and workshops from a range of specialists in the field, including AccountAbility. The aim was to enable organizations to share knowledge, cement strategic partnerships and discuss climate and energy projects, and to encourage stakeholder engagement, sustainability strategy, training, non-financial reporting and sustainability assurance.
The participants included the Korean environment ministry, the Korean chamber of commerce and Sd3’s existing clients such as Samsung.
