Entertainment and communications business Virgin Media has appointed Stuart Poore to the new role of corporate responsibility director. Poore, who joins from the defence technology and security company QinetiQ, where he was responsible for CSR, will head a team consisting of Sara-Jane Amey, previously with ntl:Telewest as head of regulatory affairs, and Geraldine Pack, who moves over from Virgin Group, where she helped to start the Virgin Unite charitable arm.
