A London local authority’s pension fund is to survey members to discover what stance they would like it to take on ethical issues. The London Borough of Lewisham Superannuation Fund says the unusual decision is intended to allow members ‘to have a direct influence on a responsible investment policy’. The decision has been welcomed by FairPensions, the responsible investment campaign.
