Rajesh Srivastava has taken over as chairman of the Association for
Sustainable and Responsible Investment in Asia (ASrIA) from the
co-founder Tessa Tennant.
Srivastava is managing director and head of corporate and commercial banking at the Mumbai-based Rabo India Finance, a fully owned subsidiary of Rabobank International. He has 25 years’ experience of financial services in India, Singapore and other countries and has worked in corporate and investment banking.
Rabobank International says it regards SRI and sustainable energy as important considerations, and Srivastava has played a significant role in delivering financial products to the renewable energy sector in line with the bank’s global commitment to work towards a greener world and to combat environmental degradation and global warming. Rabobank has been a member of ASrIA for three years.
Tennant remains on the board.
