The Sustainable Pensions programme run by the UK Social Investment Forum has been strengthened by the presence of a heavyweight from the corporate world. Larry Stone, company secretary of BT, has joined the board of the programme, which seeks to encourage companies 'leading the way on CSR' also to consider environmental and social issues in their pension fund investments. Stone is a trustee of the BT Pension Fund, which is the largest retirement fund in the country.
