Time Warner is to develop a code of conduct for suppliers. The global media and entertainment company, which employs about 87,000 people and had a $44billion (£24bn) turnover last year, has formed an executive-level International Supply Chain Council to oversee the writing of the code during the next year. Suppliers will be monitored for compliance with the code. Time Warner says it expects it will take ‘a few years’ for the code to have any effect.
