Rutledge Tufts, executive director of the US-based Fair Labor Association since 2003, has died at the age of 59 after sustaining injuries in a fall at his home in Washington DC. Tufts joined the FLA, which monitors supply chain conditions for multinational companies, after a long career in procurement at the University of North Carolina.
