Chinese companies to disclose moves on rural poverty

The 20 companies in the Chinese Association for Corporate Social Responsibility are to ask their suppliers next month to reveal their policies on environmental protection and their efforts to alleviate poverty.

The association runs a programme to promote education in rural areas, using 100 graduates, and is providing 100 computers every year for schools in those areas.
