BT has become the first company to support Work Wise UK, a three-year project to promote flexible working. The telecoms company, 11,500 of whose staff already work from home, will encourage other businesses to use Work Wise UK’s advisory service for managers and staff. The initiative is being run by the IT Forum Foundation, a not-for-profit body. The Trades Union Congress and the British Chambers of Commerce are also backing Work Wise.
