Al Nierenberg has been made corporate accountability director at the US-based Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies. Nierenberg joins Ceres from Evergreen Consulting & Training, where he worked on sustainable business practices. He replaces Debra Hall, who is taking a sabbatical and is to return to Ceres in the autumn. Ceres, whose directors recently accepted General Mills and Time Warner into membership, now has more than 65 companies in its network.
