Principles on how to tackle discrimination against the Dalit (‘untouchable’) Hindu caste in South Asia have been finalized for use by companies in the region. The voluntary Ambedkar Principles require signatories to have a plan of action to remedy caste discrimination in wages, employment conditions and job security (EP7, issue 3, p12).
