A network has been formed so that CSR practitioners and others can pool information on communicating their organizations’ sustainability work. The Compass Network is run by the London-based communications consultancy Futerra and the Sustainable Development Commission, the UK government’s adviser on sustainable development. The network’s website offers advice, research reports, survey results, an online forum and examples of successful communications campaigns. Membership is free and open to anyone with ‘a role or interest in communicating sustainable development’. The site is supported by the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
