Telekom Malaysia is spending 600,000 ringgits ($160,000, £90,000) on a community service campaign to remind Muslim worshippers to respect one another and their mosques as places of worship.

The company will install 7000 signs in obvious places at 1400 mosques reminding worshippers to switch off their mobile phones or put them on silent mode and will distribute 70,000 copies of a religious text to selected mosques.
