The executive appointed by Russian aluminium company Rusal to head its
corporate responsibility programme has stepped down after only three
months in the job. The business said sustainability director Duncan
Hedditch, who had moved to the key post from a senior position in Rusal
Australia (EP7, issue 5, p7), had resigned for ‘personal reasons’.
Hedditch has been replaced by Oleg Burkatskiy, who was previously
managing director of Rusal’s Sayanogorsk plant in Russia.
