Five companies appear for the first time on a list of stocks most commonly found in the portfolios of European SRI fund managers. Foerenings-Sparbanken, ING, Sanofi-Synthelabo, TeliaSonera and Telefonica are among the 20 stocks most frequently selected by the 375 fund managers tracked by the SIRI network of research providers in its annual survey of the sector. The ranking is headed by Vodafone, followed by GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson. Financial performance and market weightings would have an important bearing on which stocks to buy.
