Four foreign companies have won inaugural CSR awards in China organized by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCham).
Nu Skin (US, Pharmaceuticals) won the award for best community outreach, ERM (global, consulting) took the award for employee health and safety, Bechtel (US, engineering) was judged best on environmental stewardship, and Honeywell (US, computers) was placed top on corporate governance.
The awards, announced in Shanghai last month, recognize organizations 'that have made notable contributions to furthering corporate responsibility in Shanghai and in China' and were judged by AmCham's CSR committee.
